Cutting Edge 2023 -  18th - 20th August

Tallington Lakes, Stamford

As we fast forward 4 years and once again enter our team 'The Llangorse Legends' into the BWSW Cutting Edge Competition we are so proud to announce that the Llangorse Legends absolutely smashed it taking 1st place on the podium....what a win!! For the first time in 25 years our name will be on the BWSW Cutting Edge trophy.

A massive congratulations to our 2023 team Harley Rice (age 12), Harry Payne (age 13), Louis Welch (age 7), Max Reakes (age 14), James Mathias (age 13), & Holly Mathias (age 11)- You are all awesome!

Our 6 competitors had fantastic results over 4 disciplines and a big shout out must go to Leah Ashman-Penny and Emily Reakes who took joint top girl award in the Kneeboard Slalom event, both 11th out of 56 - Well done girls!

Joshua Ashman placed 5th in the Slalom out of 49, followed by Liam Williams in 11th place. Well done lads!

To think just 10 weeks before the competition, some of these young competitors could not even get up out of the water, and look at them now! What they have achieved with their effort and determination in such a short time is absolutely incredible!

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and passion of our amazing BWSW Cutting Edge training team Justin Rice, Martyn Reakes, & Lee Welch, along with our expert team coaches Liam Williams & Emily Reakes, and the great support and encouragement from the parents. Every single second of your time and patience has been very much appreciated. Thank you all!!

Without a doubt, a weekend to remember...
